It was forty below today. People were not meant to live in this weather. The inside of my nose freezes just walking outside.
All in all, it was a great day despite the cold. Mikki and I had a great dinner of ravioli stuffed with asiago cheese, basil and pinenut pesto, baked in homemade tomato sauce. The side was fresh green beans. All organic of course!
Sometimes I wonder what intolerant, racist, homophobic people tell themselves to justify it. It's something that bothers me, because it's prevalent in some parts of my family. Oh well, I'll just have to bust out the Obama shirt and talk about how I'm going gluten free and I consume things like kombucha and kefir. Oh, and cheese made of rice so that it's lactose and soy free. Also, it's way better than normal cheese.
Peace out homies. I'm taking a scalding hot bubble bath and finishing Ina May's book.

Hahahah. I love when the cold freezes everything in your nose. I mean, how disgusting is that?
ReplyDeleteAnyways, that ravioli you made was so flipping delicious. Cheese made of rice huh? We had the soy didn't we? I will have to try that sometime. Let me know how that book is...
